My heavy rims slowed the car down and super low profile tires did not provide nearly enough grip. Those 19" were very heavy so switching to the lightweight 16"s freed up rotational inertia = lighter and faster. (here is link on weight reduction effects at track: [ http://www.nerocam.com/SCC_TAP.asp ]) For example the highest PSI my car achieved while driving was 17.25 with the 19"s but when switched over to lightweight wheels my best PSI readout so far has been 18.70. This might seem silly to other members on here, but I am amazed at how much faster, and overall better the car feels when driving now. I went with the GTR wheels because I cant really afford a set of similar lightweight wheels and I wanted something just slightly different than the stock Z wheels. Two bad things. One, I miss the wide stance of the 19"s and how well the car tracked with them. And two, because the wheels are so light I can really light up those tires so I have to remember to take it easy or else I will be buying new tires every time I turn around.
